About

Seojeong Lee holds an MA in History of Art from University College London (UCL) and a BA in Art History and Museum Studies from the University of East Anglia (UEA). She has gained practical experience across South Korea and the UK, working in exhibition support, research, collection management, and archival documentation.

Her current practice centres on writing. She explores points of intersection where personal narratives, social contexts, and historical trajectories converge within contemporary visual art. Her research interests include feminist discourse, minority narratives, institutional critique, alternative histories, images of disaster, and art in the age of AI. She contributes exhibition reviews and critical texts on an occasional basis, and is developing future curatorial projects.

With a strong interest in accessibility and art education, she has worked as a docent for Korean-speaking audiences at major museums and galleries in London. She is currently based in Edinburgh.

She is guided by the words of Susan Sontag: "What is important now is to recover our senses. We must learn to See more, to Hear more, to Feel more."
